ITRI:

Innovative Transportation Research Institute (ITRI) at Texas Southern University will conduct advanced research and development to seek optimal solutions to various urban traffic and air quality problems.  By utilizing advanced technologies, large scale computer simulation methods, and complex modeling systems, ITRI will attempt to develop, evaluate, optimize, and recommend comprehensive strategies for traffic congestion mitigation, mobile source emission reduction, and fuel consumption saving.

CTTR:

CTTR is dedicated to conducting research on current Transportation issues. CTTR conducts research and training in conjunction with the Southwest Region University Transportation Center. The consortium consists of Texas A&M University, Texas Southern University, and University of Texas at Austin. CTTR is guided by an Advisory Board representing public and private sectors, university scholars, and transportation officials.
